From humble beginnings as an art PA in 1996 to a tenure assisting some of the top names in set and production design, Karl's journey has led to 15 years of shooting with such clients as Saks 5th Avenue, Bergdorf-Goodman, and Herman Miller. Karl brings a broad and diverse background in the visual arts to projects, whether it's set design, props, or product styling.
With a youth spent largely in Germany and Texas, he's been a resident of New York City since 2001. Extra-curricular pursuits include playing music, daydreaming about motorcycles (sometimes actually riding one), and conflicted personal debates about whether or not to start skateboarding again.
